Studies show that a child educated in rural Kenya may complete primary school but will still have much lower literacy levels than their more fortunate, urban peers.
The effects of poverty on children is wide-reaching and can lead to lifelong struggles, especially when young people do not receive quality education.

Exercise Book Donation
Together with partners and donors, the Ajuma Foundation then personally visits vulnerable schools to ensure they put donated exercise books into the children's hands.
Sanitary Pad Donation
During the book donation drives, we also distribute free sanitary towels and panties to girls who many times have to sit out of school during their period, amounting to 15 school days in an academic term.
School Infrastructure
As we visit various primary schools in Rural Kenya, we have realized the dire need for additional support, especially basic infrastructure facilities.
